Neymar agrees to join Chelsea Santos striker Neymar has agreed to join Premier League champions Chelsea, according to Brazil newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo. The report claims a meeting was held in New York in the presence of the player, his father, agent Wagner Ribeiro, Santos president Luiz Alvaro de Oliveira Ribeiro, Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck and agent Pini Zahavi. Neymar agreed to sign for the Blues, who will pay €25 million to Santos for his services. The Brazil international has been hotly linked with the English giants and a deal appeared to have fallen through after Santos rejected a €20million bid from Chelsea. But the move is set to be completed after the transfer fee was agreed upon during the meeting in New York. Have not heard any of this except for the fact that Schwarzer put in a transfer request at Fulham and it was denied.

Don, are you sure about Neymar's club agreeing to settle a deal with Chelsea ? Last I read was Santos approaching FIFA for 'misconduct' on Chelsea's part :phehehe:

Yeah, they are all speculations, nothing is certain except Schwarz's desire to play for Arsenal.

If this deal comes through then he would become the highest paid player in the world! So don't worry you have company in the form of Ronaldo,Messi,Kaka etc :giggle:

Citey can afford, Madrid can't, they are just fecking getting themselves into debt.

Not really debt. Real Madrid has heavy government funding and fanbase. But the government funding gives them the edge opposed to other clubs Even Barcelona has it, but they are smarter and wiser then Madrid in both money and talent.

Huh! I can't quite understand some of these managers' tactics. Poor Bellamy was City's player of the year last season.
Its a clash of egos. I was expecting him to go to Fulham following Mark Hughes, but he has chosen to go back to Cardiff where his family is based.
