DomainK Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 He batted well today. Scored some very valuable runs for his team at a very important time. In fact, he had done better than the most famed batsman of his team: Aamer averages 35. Afridi's career average is 23 and his average since Aamer's debut is 16.
Dinx - the Jinx Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 dude he scored just 19 off 20.. i think its going a little overboard to create a separate thread for this effort

nballa Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 I think he has the potassium to be another hadlee/kapil/imran/botham league.
nospam Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 I think he has the potassium to be another hadlee/kapil/imran/botham league. hahahaha :hysterical: nice one.
DomainK Posted October 4, 2009 Author Posted October 4, 2009 I think he has the potassium to be another hadlee/kapil/imran/botham league. If he has so much potassium, he should be in the fertilizers industry. What is he doing playing cricket. :dontknow:
Celeste Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Aamir has a decent technique which he showed in SL series. He should just concentrate on his bowling and do not go the Irfan way. Thanks to Akram for giving Pakistan such a gem.

Thanks to Akram for giving Pakistan such a gem. thanks for telling .. there is no problem with irfan by the way.. stop comparing with him.. he is just 22 years of age and he will sort out his bowling problems and be back..
Pak_Forever Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 I think he has the potassium to be another hadlee/kapil/imran/botham league. :haha: Just 17 and people are already comparing him to greats! I think this lad, Umar Akmal and Fawad Alam (when he will get a good run) got very promising careers ahead. Amir right now can bat decently. Should have batted ahead of Gul.

That's the age when they get compared to legends. The some other young kid comes in for the comparisons. Very few of them stay to become legends.
Jai Ho Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 boy is solid could be another Irfan Pathan type. Meaning won't be around for long. :cantstop:
