McGrath to coach NSW's bowlers

Glenn McGrath's sudden return to playing will soon include some coaching after he agreed to help out New South Wales' bowlers during the summer. More If he was available for a coaching job then we should have moved in.

I agree. He would be a great coach but I dont know if there would be ego clash after Veeru and Gauti has remained his captains in DD. But from what I heard McGrath is very down to earth and hopefully ego clash should not take place. The only disadvantage might be that McGrath would not be able to increase speed of bowlers as he is not one of the fastest players to have played the game.

There won't be any ego clash and even if there is it shouldn't affect the morale of the team. A team comprising Warne and Steve Waugh(they never saw eye to eye) is hailed as one of the best to take the field. There are a lot of instances I can quote apart from cricket as well like Teddy Sheringham/ Andy Cole who were not bestest of friends but still formed a great pair up fornt for Man Utd. McGrath is a professional. Period. I don't agree with the second part. Speed is nothing if you can't hit the right areas and that's where I think McG will be handy.
