From a cricket jersey signed by India’s star bowler Ashish Nehra to a personalised dedication in external affairs minister Shashi Tharoor’s new book on the history of cricket, India has come up trumps for tve. The charity is the maker of agenda-setting films about the environment and development which are seen by Indian audiences in the hundreds of millions. The signed cricket prizes are: A personally inscribed hardback copy of cricket masterpiece ‘Shadows Across the Playing Fields’, signed by external affairs minister and co-author Shashi Tharoor, also a former under secretary-general at the United Nations.
