And some very interesting drama everywhere. Umar Akmal claimed injury and ruled himself out. He even sat out the training because of this injury. But scan and medical tests showed nothing wrong and soon the Pakistani manager declared that he is fit and is available for the Hobart test. Many believe that Umar successfully blackmailed the team management into playing Kamran. Kamran Akmal on the other hand maintained that his brother was injured and refused to ever take play as a batsman only. He insisted that he would play as a keeper-batsman only and declared confidently that he was playing the Hobart test and that he had the backing of the whole team.
