The analogies dont stand. You can be a cricket expert but still biased in your judgement. When Warne says Tendulkar is the best, yeah sure Tendulkar has played Warne really well, but that doesnt mean Tendulkar is the greatest of his time, let alone all time. Just to let you know, Warne put Mark Waugh ahead of Dravid, Kallis and Steve Waugh. Do you agree with that? If not, then why do you have to believe him when he says SRT is the greatest?

But when 99.99% experts agree to the same thing and put Sachin and Warne ahead of everyone else, dont you think there would be something more than stats to it? Its the same with music critics or art critics or movie critics. One or two of their opinions would be radically different and soemtimes non-sense but if you take the majority, you will know whats what.

I am just saying there are others who have achieved what the two of them have (in tests).
