StriKe Posted April 21, 2010 Share Posted April 21, 2010 NAVI MUMBAI: In a freak incident, a student of Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology (RAIT) was injured during the Deccan Chargers’ practice session on the Dr D Y Patil University campus on Wednesday. “While the DC players were practising, captain Adam Gilchrist hit a ball which crossed the nets and hit the girl on the forehead. A lot of in-campus students had gathered a little distance away to watch the IPL players practising for the semis,’’ an eyewitness said. “The bleeding RAIT student was immediately taken to hospital by her friends for treatment. She received a few stitches on her head.
