Mandrake Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 Guys..I'm contemplating a switch to the Apple Laptops....never used an apple pc before. Any of you use the mac books?How's your experience and how do you compare it with the Dells,Thinkpads and in general windows running laptops?
Holysmoke Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 Re: Mac Books ..anyone? not as compatible as windows, not everything works.... still for eg. cricket 2007 mac's are good, but they are greatly overrated, too much hype. just like the ipod, really good player.. but highly overrated and hyped. there's no DISTINCT feature that stands out in macs imho, graphics are great, but so are vista's graphics. another thing that bugs me, is that for macs, u gotto go very deep, just to change a small setting, takes u thru 4-5 steps.. irritates me :mad: i was thinking of a switch too, but then i figured if i got a mac, i'd spend a lot of time using xp on it anyways, so scrapped the idea. ps- dont hurry , wait for leopard to come out.
