Don Sharma
Rafter and Courier are comparable to the likes of Hewitt and Roddick...Becks and Andre were in a different league though. But there were some specialists for different types of surfaces during Sampras' time - Kuerten, Sergi Bruguera at clay..Krajicek, Henman at grass.. Rafter, Petr Korda, Safin on hard court, etc - whom you don't see that often nowadays which is a kinda sad btw. In my opinion, Fed would have still done well had he played in the early 90s-00s. * Fed was a pr1ck during his boys' tennis time.
Sooda
^ yeah... 15 years ago on player winning both the French and Wimby would have been almost impossible. The grass courts were so much quicker that the big servers like Goran and Krajiceck could just bludgeon past players with their serve and volley game. Those types of players would never cope on the Wimbledon surfaces of today. It has made the Wimb games more attractive to watch tho-i.e far more rallies and less of wham bam thank you etc... SachDan
Andy is out of the French Open after a 4-6 5-7 3-6 defeat to Tomas Berdych. He was a never a hot contender here at the first place. Didn't expect him to go beyond quarter finals.

SachDan
Rafa through to the quarter finals :aha::aha: Defeated 24th seed Brazilian Bellucci in straight sets. Honestly score line don't do any justice to Bellucci's peformance. He was quite fantastic today! Made Rafa earn most of the points and showed wide array of shots. He would have stretched any other opponent to 4th or 5th set but not The King of Clay!!
