Batting away from home doesn't necessarily show who the better batsmen are. Can you make another list of batsman's overall stats against good bowlers?

Useless stats. Does not consider difference between eras, pithces and the batsmen havent faced the same bowlers. Did Waugh face the same bowlers Sehwag did? What does this stat prove? For example, Waugh might have done better against the kind of bolwers Sehwag faced (Asif) or he would have sucked against them. Similarly Sehwag might not have done as good as Waugh for the bowlers he faced or he might have done much better.

I think many of our ICF members need to read about and be familiar with Occam's razor principle Occam's razor (or Ockham's razor[1]), is the meta-theoretical principle that "entities must not be multiplied beyond necessity" (entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem) and the conclusion thereof, that the simplest solution is usually the correct one. Usually the simplest solution, (that the batsmen with most runs, the bowler with most wickets are the best) is the right one. When you introduce so many different variables, each time it will give a differnt result and will not make much sense at all.
