TumTum Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 wow satyam you really are a moron :finger: Who would you rather have in your team? Bradman, Kallis or Tendulkar?
Zap_Brannigan Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Kallis is a full batsman and a full bowler (meaning he excels in both) which gives SA to free up a spot in the team for lesser mortals who excel in only 1 area. That claim cannot be given to anyone else playing/played the game this generation (Sobers being the previous) except for the wicket-keeper batsmen. Players like Gilchrist, Dhoni, Sangakkaara,Boucher etc do the same, that is free up a spot for specialists. Add the job of captaincy, then you got the likes of Dhoni and Sangakaara in a completely different plane.

Guest OriginalPrince Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 there is about a dozen players i would pick before tendulkar playing cricket right now. just off the top of my head 1. kallis 2. murali 3. steyn 4. murali 6. watson 7. bollinger 9. asif (even if he is a druggie) i could probably list another dozen if i gave it some thought.

Asif before Sachin...If all Pakis think like you, that explains why pak is at the bottom of the table.. Murali is so good that he is in the list twice.

Guest OriginalPrince Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 bollinger before sachin?? :omg: btw' date=' I don't think you have a head[/quote'] he's picking up wickets and is probably the second best bowler in the world right now. i'd take bollinger before ponting as well.
satyam1729 Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 he's picking up wickets and is probably the second best bowler in the world right now. i'd take bollinger before ponting as well. And his ranking is not even in top 10. :giggle::hysterical::haha:

Lol you are third grade filth. Sehwag has matched that minnow basher Bradman in many aspect. Bradman and Warne are 2 most over rated players of all time. I wouldn't have any of them even near to my XI. Bradman played against paltry 2 team and 2 countries :haha::hysterical::giggle:

Mamu Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Pakistan was the best test team for the most part of the 90s and have the best away test record during that period. During what period 90s ??? Best Away Record ? What do you smoke -- man that must be quite good. Pass me on that stuff buddy Let me remind -- and engrave this on your forehead It has been 25 years Pakistan has won an away series in Aus, RSA, WI and India combined. It has been 15 years if you throw England in the mix. If that is a good record -- What would you call others' records ? And the above numbers include part to whole of 90s. This depite your delusional claim to possessing the Worlds fastest bolwers -- in Waqar, Wasim, Chucktar, Charsif, Ducklain etc etc. Most of these guys were good in bits and pieces, but to win a test series you require more than just bunch of rag tag bowlers who could bowl well in 3 matches consistently

f.b.m Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Btw, whose the newsreader in Feed's avatar? Melissa Theuriau
Zap_Brannigan Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 i don't know what to say... It makes more sense than your opinion
achilles Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Melissa Theuriau :two_thumbs_up: Tbh, Smith is pushing this a bit too far. Kapil Dev, Imran Khan & Ian Botham were far greater all-rounders and were very consistent all throughout their career.
Serani Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 :two_thumbs_up: Tbh, Smith is pushing this a bit too far. Kapil Dev, Imran Khan & Ian Botham were far greater all-rounders and were very consistent all throughout their career. How are they? Statistically speaking Kallis has to be the greatest cricketer ever along with Sobers and Bradman, just because he is a boring mofo people dont rate him.
TumTum Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Kallis is a crap bowler. Gets most of his wickets by out thinking a batsmen rather than sheer brilliance. He is a joke in front of people like Imran Khan and Botham. And like you said Serani never made an impact with his batting.
Serani Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Ian Botham was also a crap bowler apparently, got loads of wickets by luck. When Kallis has retired people will like at his record and think he was awesome.
