Serani Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Bravo & Pollard are rubbish players anyway. Holding doesnt even consider Pollard a cricketer. They should learn from Johnson & Broad who have their priorities right. Pollard could play tests well I reckon
Sir john Posted September 24, 2010 Author Posted September 24, 2010 bravo and polly are good medium pacers.:winky:
Jersey #10 Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 International cricket coming to an end? I am tired of the empty stadiums and the filthy dishonest players. Make Lalit Modi the president of ICC and then see the game grow from peak to peak
Sir john Posted September 26, 2010 Author Posted September 26, 2010 Gayle refuses retainer contract WEST Indies captain Chris Gayle has declined an offer of a retainer contract from the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB). “I can confirm that Chris Gayle has refused the retainer contract and has sent a letter to that effect,†an authoritative source told the Observer late last night. In saying “thanks†to the regional board for the offer, Gayle reportedly underlined the point already made by the WICB that a retainer contract is not a prerequisite for selection to the West Indies team. However, in late August the WICB also announced that it was reverting to a position of a few years ago which requires players to make themselves available for regional competitions in order to be eligible for selection to the West Indies team. The West Indies captain missed the regional first-class tournament earlier this year because of a professional contract in Australia.
Sir john Posted September 26, 2010 Author Posted September 26, 2010 everyone want to become rich.:--D
Pak_Forever Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Earning a little more money is not wrong, but earning it by showing your back to the land who made you a cricketer is just wrong. Bravo and Pollard are not that quality players anyways, though Chris Gayle not signing the contract could turn into a big problem for West Indian cricket.

But this is the 21st century and not every cricketer makes as much money as an Indian cricketer does. Chris Gayle had to put his birthday party on sale.... it just goes on to show that finance is a resource that is scarce in that part of the world.
