Guest Gunner Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 I honestly suspect two results' date=' either a draw or Australia win. Win toss, win game is the ultimate ritual in sub-continent.[/quote'] Basically Australia played for a draw. This is the worst batting display ever by any visiting team. You are one of those fellows from across the border who keeps saying that Indian pitches are terrible, flat, killing test cricket blah blah, aren't you? So explain to me how come your second favorite team needed over 150 overs to score 428 runs at 2,82 p.o. I will be waiting for your answer.
yoda Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Looks like the Aussies are here to get batting practice before the Ashes. They don't seem to have any intentions of playing positive cricket. That said, why are we rushing at 5 RPO?
kabira Posted October 2, 2010 Author Posted October 2, 2010 ^Sehwag factor. Run rate will drop tomorrow.
Fontaine Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 I'm still so disgusted with our fielding. When Australia were barely scoring 2 runs an over and Zaheer bowling a fiery spell I cannot forgive that drop by Dhoni off Paine. What pisses me off the most is that in the eyes of world cricket we're no better than the Pakistani clowns who repeatedly give opposition batsmen second chances from their pathetic drops. We have aspirations of being a dominant test team yet our fielding is no better than a club side from Bangladesh.
