And this is the best I could come up with in the 5 minutes that I had: "And no praise is adequate for Sachin Tendulkar - he started playing at the highest level at age 16, and is still dominating the world of cricket at age 37. The most amazing aspect is that he has impeccable character and a humble personality to go with sublime skills and child-like enthusiasm to improve his game (after 21 yrs. at the top). Imagine taking in the adulation of billions of people starting at age 16, on and on for 21 years, and still being firmly grounded - astounding. The only way I can describe him to American sports enthusiasts is like this: (Michael Jordan's or Wayne Gretzky's skills and work ethic) + (Tim Duncan's personality) for 21 years."
