Cricket Tragic Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Cricinfo has the 3 most searched players on its website with players who have done well recently usually appearing in the top 3 (Dhoni right now). I was wondering whether it is possible to find out who are the top 5 most searched players in the site's history. Atm, they update it every day or two and show the top 3. Edit: I got the answer on the Cricinfo site. 1. Sachin Tendulkar. 2. Tendulkar. 3. Sachin. 4. Any of the first three spelt incorrectly. 5. Dhoni. http://www.espncricinfo.com/columns/...ry/406006.html
Ranjha Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 It changes every few days based on who is performing. I dont think you can check the history of it.

anish233 Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 prolly sachin ponting? dravid? shane warne? maybe Dhoni, Afridi or Murali?
Pak_Forever Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Well 80% of cricket following is from one specific nation, so it would be understandable if all searched players are from that country.
Cricket Tragic Posted April 4, 2011 Author Posted April 4, 2011 I got the answer on the Cricinfo site. :yay: 1. Sachin Tendulkar. 2. Tendulkar. 3. Sachin. 4. Any of the first three spelt incorrectly. 5. Dhoni. http://www.espncricinfo.com/columns/content/story/406006.html

Cricket Tragic Posted April 4, 2011 Author Posted April 4, 2011 Yeah, I found it crazy as well. I expected him to be at 1 but not the top 4.
indiafan Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 thought it would have been Misbah-ul-Huq since the whole pakistan is looking for him. He's at Mohali waiting for the second innings to begin after an unusually long lunch break...

Zelig Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Apart from the existing stats, if they show the No. of catches DROPPED in Kamran's profile, he might well feature in Top 5 searches, in the days to come :agree:
