ViruRulez Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 What do you want me to say - "Inshallah' date= we will crush China easily, and then join with other countries and defeat the US too"? :dontknow: China is numerically stronger and also has better infrastructure in the border areas. Unless the conflict is short and limited to such a small geographical area that the size advantage is negated, China will always defeat us at conventional war. From what I know, India had occupied and placed reinforcements in all the strategic posts along with India-China border after the facepalm in the Indo-China war of 1962. We have the best strategic military positions and have placed our forces at all the high locations which is a lot more effective during war. During a war, only power does not matter but locations also matter a lot. Do you know why India spends such a lot of money and casualties in Siachen every year and did not return it to Pakistan during the 1971war. It was because of the strategic location as it is much easier to attack from a high location compared to attacking from low to high range. It is no ways going to be easy for China to attack us in case of war. Their troops would need to attack and fire from below to our strategic locations across the border above and it is very difficult in ground war. And we would need to fire and attack downwards which is more effective. So, it is no way going to be easy for China and even they know about this and wont attack that easily. During the 1962 war and 1971 we Indians used our brains which we are known for anyways :musicman: and captured the strategic locations to make it difficult for any opposition to attack us in the future.
