jairamesh Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Really? Rayudu is an enigma where he was screwed around by hyderabad and then the ICL fracas. Until this year he hadn't played domestic cricket for the last 4 years. It's not a surprise he was once the India U19 captain, plus he has been consistent since his debut in IPL last year. Nothing extravagant but a steady run accumulator.

Cricket Tragic Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 What about FC and List A? I don't consider the IPL to be a judge of talent but you can use it if you want. It would still be only one tournament in one format. I don't know about his exact T20 stats but I assume it is very good since you're using them in your argument but I do know that his FC and List A stats aren't that flash. I watched him score 170 odd in England years back when he was a kid and David Lloyd said that he was definitely the next Tendulkar. So yes, I'm aware of his past reputation.
