The Mythical Pakistan Bowling Attack

lol :hysterical: Im not saying that this Pak bwoling attack is good or not.. infact its the weakest Pak attacl in 25 years .but atleast do some research before you post your drivel FFS... your bolded statement shows that you are clueless in wc and first 3 odi matches of the series . West Indies were dismissed below that score every time. And WCtrack was as flat as they come.. so point here is that you are a troll and your every thread in my time on this forum tends to be on Pak's imaginary bowling woes
Please read my post carefully. If reading comprehension is not your strength please seek some help. Please do not manufacture things. I no where bought the WC into account, I just mentioned the recent series. WC averages had lot more variables. Have a nice day.

Except for the fact that Gul has truly sucked in all format of the games recently. He had a good couple of years but is greatly over-hyped. T20 sutis him best.
Do you even know what you are talking about, he is phaast and world's best.:giggle:

Who is saying we have the best bowling attack now? we open with Hafeez FFS, 6-7 months ago yes, we could have had the best bowling attack. Only Ajmal is good, and that too against teams who are weak against spin
Such a sensible and level headed post. Are you a closet Indian?

India's current bowling line up for test matches can give Pakistan a run for its money. Sreesanth, Zaheer Khan, and Ishant Sharma have the ability to rattle any opposition even Indian batsmen themselves would have some trouble facing them. Pakistan's only good bowler atm seems is Saeed Ajmal. Gone are the days of super fast bowling with the retirement of Shoaib Akhtar.

just because Shoaib and afridi retired and Umar gul is out of form does not mean that you guys start bashing our bowling attack.Don't forget in wc Afridi was a leading wicket taker,Wahab who played his first game against India got five wickets at a very good Eco. rate. You guys underrating Ajmal but Tendulker had no clue against him ...does that mean Tendulker is weak batsman? The only bowling side troubled you was ours.Give credit where its due.

Zaheer Khan is definitely great, but I've yet to see Sreesanth dominate for more than one or two spells here and there and the same is true for Ishant.

How do you think we reached the no1 position? By batting all the way up there?

RP Singh, Pathan, Mishra also played in victorious test matches that helped us reach that no1 position. Zaheer/Bhajji have been the only really consistent ones. Everyone else is not dominant and replaceable as has been the case since 2006. But the point isn't about the number 1 position. It's about someone else saying that these guys (Sree/Ishant) can rattle any opposition when that simply has not been the case.

Mostly yes.

But its also true that his disability gives him an edge over other bowlers and allows him to bowl faster. Should this be allowed? For example this guy oscar_1901163b.jpg Is one of the fastest runners in the wrold, yet was baaned from olympics

Well, no team can reach the top of test cricket with a very poor bowling unit. Test matches are won by essentially taking 20 wickets in the given time. Our bowlers may not be individually great, but they do the given job often than not these days. However I agree with Fontaine that it's not a feared bowling lineup. We don't actually "rattle" the opposition.

Not just that, our bowling attack will rarely lead to a bowling led test victory. I mean where we bowl out the opposition for less than 100 etc and then go on to win from there. This will happen quite rarely. Essentially we are more likely to have a batting led test victory.

End of the day job of the bowling attack is to win, which India did.

2 different cases I believe. The 2nd guy obviously has external parts added to his body that helps his advantage.

Bottom line is that Shoaib gets to throw with Dalmiya's help which Pakistanis conveniently forget.
