A lot of hype generated leading upto the show as can been by the 240,000 plus fans even before the show has begun. The coke studio brand was initially launched in Brazil and Pakistan. Now it comes to India where it will break music barriers and fusion the north south, classical, contemporary and not to forget the wide array of language barrier. They say music has no boundaries and this will be tested in the show. Prominent singers are already lined up : Kailash Kher, Sunidhi Chauhan, Chinna Ponnu, Shafqat Amanat Ali, Sabri and Wadali Brothers, Shaan, etc. A country like India is a challenge and fascinating at the same time with the options available for fusion. The show will be headed by Leslie Lewis. A sneak insider of the show was posted on the facebook channel after reaching the 200,000 fan mark on the facebook page. Harshdeep Kaur sang the classical 'Hoo' song. She was the winner of Junoon musical show.
