saneindian Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Sehwag is not going to be fit for the England tests. No point in rushing him back without enough rehab. Batsmen- Gambhir, Vijay, RD, SRT, VVS, Kohli, Yuvraj Keepers- MSD, Parthiv (the reserve opener as well) Spinners- Bhajji, Mishra Seamers- Zak, Ishant, Sree, RPS (hopefully), PK/Munaf/Mithun
deepak_sach Posted June 18, 2011 Author Posted June 18, 2011 Oops Sorry I missed Gambhir.So gambhir instead of Yuvrajxxxx:--D
jairamesh Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Agree Sehwag is unlikely to be fit, rather have him fit and ready for the Australia tour. Yuvraj will probably de-select himself if he is not guaranteed a starting XI spot.
Pagalpanti Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Hope Sehwag is fit though, would love to see him tear apart anderson and tremlett. Vijay Gambhir Dravid Sachin VVS Kohli/Badrinath (Based on WI Tour performances) if both fail to do anything big then Yuvraj Dhoni Harbhajan Zak Ishant Sreesanth Reserves: Kohli,Badri,Yuvraj(1 of them in the playing 11), Munaf, Ojha, Pujara, Mukund
BERGKAMP Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 If all are fit - Sehwag Gambhir Dravid Tendulkar Laxman Kohli Dhoni Zaheer Sreesant Mishra Ishant Yuvraj Vijay KKD Dartbhajan Munaf PK
Pagalpanti Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Mishra over Harbhajan based on what? a series against batsman who cant play spin on rank turners. Yeah right Harbhajan is a proven match winner and you write him off just because of 1 poor season on flattest track you'll find in whole world.

Well, Bhajji's Test bowling has definitely declined from his peak years, but he still remains our best Test spinner. In his last series, he took 15 wickets at 29 against SA in SA. Mishra averages 43.8 against non-Bangladeshi opposition, he really needs to prove himself at Test level first before even being considered as the first choice Test spinner.
say2chander Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Yuvraj deserves a 2nd go at number 7. Also left arm spin against pieterson would be handy. Also I so want Irfan pathan to return to his peak form
