Either that or you deliberately torture them. It's really up to you." My nation is The Republic of Coxites. "The Republic of Coxites is a tiny, safe nation, notable for its burgeoning Sheep population. Its compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 16 million are highly moralistic and fiercely conservative, in the sense that they tend to believe most things should be outlawed. People who have good jobs and work quietly at them are lauded; others are viewed with suspicion. The government -- a sprawling, bureaucracy-choked morass -- juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Healthcare, and Education. The average income tax rate is 38%, but much higher for the wealthy. A substantial private sector is dominated by the Book Publishing industry. Nudity is frowned upon, organ donation is compulsory, the government's religious works are headed by a New Age guru, and corporations donate huge sums of money to favored politicians. Crime is well under control, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Coxites's national animal is the Sheep, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Cox." This is something you can spend a lot of time on or barely any but by all accounts its quite fun! If people here are interested, I may create an "ICF" region for our nations to come together.
