Why not Ashwin for tests?

Why not R.Ashwin for test matches.He has got the flight,drift,the armball and the carrom ball.If he has 4 fielders in the inner circle ,he would be lethal with the bounce he gets and we can dispose Harbhajan Singh off.

I think the issue here would be how much experience has he had in England... I don't have the stats or figures but lack of practice in England is something that seems to be affecting any alternative we'd have otherwise had to Darty.

I don't really care who replaces him but whoever it is must be told that they will have a good run and it does not matter if they have a bad game here or there. As it stands Mishra, Ojha whoever is in knows it doesn't matter how they perform, they will be dropped as soon as the next match is here, and that must be very demoralizing and have an effect on their performances when they do get a chance.

I think that Ashwin needs to be groomed for test matches. I think he has something that could make him a future great and does remind me of Kumble. Please don't keep playing him in T20's :(

I would love to see even 17 year old left arm bowler Harmeet Singh instead of Harbhajan Singh. Even Iqbal Abdulla is OK.

I doubt Ashwin will be a successful test bowler. He is a thinking bowler relying more on bowling in the right places rather than prodigious spin. In tests batsman dont have the compulsion to go after the bowling at least once in every over. Only time will tell though

I've never understood why Kartik hasn't got many chances also, he has always impressed me whenever he has played and is very clever bowler.
