Post Match talk show and the mention of Nass saying BCCI's decision of no LBW for UDRS is disgraceful comes up. Shaz goes bonkers and boy did I love it or what? Shaz sez something like: "Who the hell is Nasser to say BCCI is disgraceful Both teams get the same thing Basically, England are jealous of the BCCI They are jealous that BCCI is strong They are jealous that the IPL is a success They are jealous India is the number 1 They are jealous India won the WC" I tell you, enough of trying to get back at them with sarcasm and just get confrontational and give it back to the bast@rds, sorry "love children". One of these fellows must engage them with a direct question like the way Warnie did with Athers and Athers went silent and shut his trap and didn't open his mouth or go to that topic at all. And Warnie did it in defense of India's IPL. Come on Shaz, Dada, and Gavva just fu But the BCCI is hurting the game The IPL is hurting the game You are passionate about your successes of course, but you fail to see the bigger picture. Short cricket is hurting the longer form of the game we all love JMHO

You are just being funny. You have never once substantiated how BCCI is hurting the game, it is just one of those lazy stereotypes which are fashionable these days. Secondly, the game must evolve with the times.

That is different it does not involve the migration of the best players in the world Schedules are already tight Too many test greats are arriving at series under cooked and out of test mode because of the IPL and the money Just my opinion

I have several times you just do not want to accept it. Take not playing Zimb or Bang for nearly 10 years at home Or buying their votes by pumping money at them

We play them at their home since it helps them to generate greater revenue, if they played in India they wouldn't make any. As simple as that. before you preach to the rest of the world, how many tests have Bangladesh played in Eng and Aus? The question of inviting Zimbabwe hardly arises, we will do so once England has invited them. We don't need to pump any money, simply because most boards don't oppose us at meetings and that includes the ECB. Any more questions?

County cricket cant generate the same money like ipl, now, who's fault is it? I would say ipl has increased the run rate substantially in test matches. We get more results nowadays because of it.

They are firmly on our schedule and rotate every three or four years I think we should agree to differ I totally disagree with you and you with me

Some *****wits dont see the difference between the IPL and a revinue extra for struggling county teams And the same *****wits are too brain dead to make a sensible point
:cantstop: Boy, you really are getting frustrated today, aren't you? Want to do a bit of giving boy? Then you may as well be open to some taking. Stop being such a f**king pussy and have the b**ls to address the goddamn point. What you said was this: Short cricket is hurting the longer form of the game we all love You didn't specify: 1) Whether you were talking about the IPL, but you conveniently steered the discussion in that direction anyway, because obviously, it doesn't matter that the ECB created that format. 2) You also didn't specify whether you were merely talking about T20, or the annual schedules pertaining to all forms of the game. So quit with the diversion tactics. You're one of the biggest nitwits on this forum because you simply don't have the gall to back up your crapola with debatable points and instead use crappy posts like this to get yourself off the hook. And as for the 'extra revenue for struggling teams'- beat that drum somewhere else. We all know how beggarly county teams there are. At least the IPL doesn't pretend to be a charity tourney or some sh**e like that.

As for the run rate, yes I agree, but it has also meant that when the wicket is playing up that there are not so many with the skiills to cope with it at test level

They duly lost all six and five of them by an innings!! Did that make for good revenue in England? If you care so much, why have you invited them only twice in 12 years?

Go and read your history sonny before posting such rubbish
Rubbish that is backed up by cold, hard fact- like the veto power and 1974 debacle, which obviously, doesn't matter to you. I've yet to see you backing up your hogwash about India pumping money into Zimbabwean and other coffers. Who's spewing the rubbish now?

Because it is the right thing to do Not playing them at home forv ten years in the modern game is hardly sponsoring grass roots cricket in emerging countries IMHO

Ancient history and not in context You forget we invented the game You only recently got the game yet you insist on changing it just because of your amount of followers Well:finger: You I want the game to be for all not just for a super team series and for greed

damn' date=' missed it btw what did warnie say to ahterton[/quote']It was during the Eng-SL series or before that, the stupid idiot Atherton during commentary tried playing holier than thou and said that the ACU weren't there during the IPL held in SA in 2009. You know in his sly sarcastic disgraceful way. Warnie asks him point blank, "Are you aware of something happening? Did you hear anything happening?" That's it Atherton went dumb for the next 5-10 seconds...no talk happening at all for almost 15 seconds and we are on live commentary. Warnie is da best! He gave it back to the bast@rd, sorry "love child", so bad that Athers did not talk about it again, and if I am right he hasn't spoken about it ever again.

What are you talking about? We went to their country played them a lot more times than you did. Look you don't understand the basics of the equation here. If Bangladesh comes to India both boards don't make money however if all of Bangladesh's way tours to India are converted to home tours for them, their board makes money. Which is exactly what has been happening all these years. And even you would admit that conditions in India for playing cricket are not so vastly different that Bangladesh gains anything by going there. You can quite honestly research your posts a bit better instead of blindly bangin' on about the evil BCCI.
