yoda
Well earned 50, probably worth more than a 100 on any other pitch. Welcome back to the test team. I am glad common sense finally prevailed. Link to comment

Predator_05
Re: Congrats Ganguly, Welcome back... I am glad that both Laxman and Ganguly vindicated my faith in them. Hopefully they will cut out the erratic sh*t and put a bigger price on their wicket from now on. India needs their experience in the middle order, and their presence has made such a big difference - right from the moment they arrived, things began to look up. Link to comment
Dhondy
Re: Congrats Ganguly, Welcome back... I was preparing to salute him, but spat the dummy in disgust at the moronic stroke he played to throw away his wicket in the 2nd innings. Absolutely reprehensible, disgusting, reckless stroke, and you could see it coming from a mile off, because you could see that he felt he had done enough. One little 50 and the man feels he's clinched his place for keeps? Such is the way we think. Shame really! Such a fine line between also-rans and greats. Link to comment
Dhondy
Re: Congrats Ganguly, Welcome back... Not in a million years would you catch Mike Hussey play a stroke like that. Believe me, that's the only difference between him and Ganguly. Link to comment
gullu
Re: Congrats Ganguly, Welcome back... Gritty comeback by Ganguly and his runs came when India were in dire straits (in both innings). I wish he hadn't thrown away his wkt in second innings. I'd still give him 8 out of 10 for his performance. His half-century put a smile on my face. Link to comment
Anakin
Re: Congrats Ganguly, Welcome back... The one little 50 is precious in context of the game Hussey looks great, but I'll wait for few more years Link to comment
Mandrake
Re: Congrats Ganguly, Welcome back... Ganguly's 50 was a superb innings played under pressure...also he and vvs had a crucial partnership in both innings....put into perspective of this match..great stuff by dada... Link to comment

Dhondy
Re: Congrats Ganguly, Welcome back... And hats off to him for that, guys, but it doesn't absolve the criminal stroke. It was brainless and irresponsible and shows the fatal flaw in his character. He is simply not the force he deserves to be when he feels smug. Link to comment
Anakin
Re: Congrats Ganguly, Welcome back... It was unnecessary stroke, happens to everyone. Link to comment
Dhondy
Re: Congrats Ganguly, Welcome back... No, it doesn't happen to everyone. It doesn't happen to the likes of Dravid and Hussey, not nearly as often as it does with Ganguly. Link to comment
Anakin
Re: Congrats Ganguly, Welcome back... He just came back after a long time. And considering that plus the attention on him and the match situation he has done more than his share. Dravid has always been a better batsman than him, it's useless to compare him to RD, and still he played so much better in this match, just shows how biased your bashing is. As I said, I'll wait few more years before going gaga over Hussey. Link to comment
Anakin
Re: Congrats Ganguly, Welcome back... It's just killing you, isn't it? Your colorful prediction about Ganguly has turned out to just what it was, fantasy. Link to comment
