nsareen Posted August 18, 2011 Author Posted August 18, 2011 CricInfo:Dave throws down the proverbial gauntlet: "a challenge for a very bored individual... draw up a scorecard so that everyone (England batsmen AND Indian bowlers) all end up with a career average of exactly 50..."
nsareen Posted August 18, 2011 Author Posted August 18, 2011 asinine:atleast we havent dropped a catch yet, atleast we havent misfielded yet (i hope), atleast we still 11 players, atleast the run rate is still under 3...an d thats all we can get atmost
nsareen Posted August 18, 2011 Author Posted August 18, 2011 CricInfoLunch, 1303 And so ends India's worst session of the series with the first new ball. They did nothing to test Strauss and Cook. Admittedly the pitch wasn't doing much but there was a palapable lack of intensity. You didn't see anyone encouraging anyone like they would when the going is good. They just let things go, and Strauss and Cook will certainly rank this among the easiest opening sessions they've faced. LUNCH
