Precambrian Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Ok, serious question here. Non troll, so no snide remarks please: Is there any scientific truth in the popular belief that a child conceived during a lunar eclipse will turn out to be very evil/wild/retarded due to the Lunar magnetism/gravitational power or dark forces? Even the word lunatic is derived from luna (moon) so there is some correlation between madness and the moon. Or so the ancients believed. Or is this theory just some bluff used by women back in the day to deny their husbands sex? :P Heard Jaddu was conceived during one such eclipse... should put your doubts to rest I hope...:nervous:
Jersey #10 Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 my grandpa saw it when she was pregnant my mother when she was born she had cut in her ear they believe it was due to my grandpa seeing the eclipse Nice family :winky:

nikred Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 As a kid, I used to think full moon-new moon-full moon is one whole cycle of lunar eclipse, until I saw the actual one. Confused the hell out of me.
Stuge Posted December 10, 2011 Author Posted December 10, 2011 Only solar eclipse shouldn't be watched with naked eyes as there is a possibility of radiation..No such issues with lunar eclipse. you can watch it with filters .
