Australia, A Great Cricketing Nation, ruled for so many years, produced so many great cricketers, were literally THE INVINCIBLES. 4 time World- Champions and numerous no of times, No 1 team in tests. Last India's tour to Australia 2007-08, where it all started. Said to be the last possible tour of Anil Kumble(The Then Captain), Saurav Ganguly and present Big 3. Losing the first test at Melbourne as we usually do. Pressure from all quarters for a win at Sydney. Many people remember that test match for some 'unexplainable' incidents' rather than actual Cricket. Australia, somehow managed to won that match. This was their 16th consecutive win on the trot, A World Record Ever. But, some other incidents were making headlines. Meetings were held, cases ran against several players and umpires were changed. All eyes were now on Perth test. Everyone expected India to get rolled over on the fastest, bounciest track of the world. But, so much was Indian team spirited to won the match there after the Sydney debacle. They won the match in 3 and a half days and by 72 runs. This said to be one of the biggest wins of Indian Cricket history. And this also said to be the start of the downfall of Australian domination in World Cricket. India, later went on to won the Tri-nation ODI series as well beating Australia in 2 consecutive finals. And then, just last year winning the World-cup as well after Australia's dominance in World cups. On the other hand, Australia lost against New-Zealand, South Africa, England in Ashes twice, India in India and lost in the World cup quarter finals. But now, 4 years later, a young Australian team is looking determined to regain the lost glory against the Legendary Indian batting line-up. Before the series, it was said to be the best chance for India to win a series against young inexperienced Aussie line-up. But after the loss of first 2 test matches, the chance of winning first ever series on Australian soil is being flushed into the toilet. Now, just the fight for respect is left for India.....
