What's the problem with the subcontinent?

Recommended Posts

In tests since 2000 you've only beaten Aus pretty well back in 08. Other then that you have drawn with England and narrowly beaten us 1-0 twice. You drawn a couple of series with SA and lost one. You've lost to Aus and also drawn a series. Your greatest test side ever has failed at home. ODI series don't matter much. Still we thrashed you at home the last time you played us. And thumped you at the 20/20 at home and then away.
We've won a series with SA post 2000. We have won our last series in WI (unlike a certain team which was all out for 51). You guys have lost two series in the SL. One series in Pak. Talking about home failures please compare England's home record with India's since the 90s. :haha: Let's see Defeats to Oz, Pak, SA, WI, NZ, SL, Ind. Only Bangladesh is left to complete the sequence. :haha:

Win is a win. You didn't bat properly in Pakistan because they bowled well. Aus had India 9 down and could not finish the match. Isn't that more embarrasing. That 387 we chased down without a sweat. Let's not talk about England's ODI trips to India. Thing is yes' date=' Saffers and Oz have been consistently good. But England have been total rubbish for a long time. They should not be lumped together with Oz and SA. I mean wasn't England ranked the worst team in the world once? :hysterical:[/quote'] The point is, is that when teams form the subcontinet travel to SA, Aus and England they get thrashed. Iit doesn't happen when those teams tour the subcontinent. Even a shithouse England tea never got as big a beating as your greatest ever side has now when we played in suncontinent. Last time we get thrased in the subcontinent was nearly 20 years ago. And we;ve done the worst out of those three countries away, so that's my point. India's greatest side has failed at home. Against Average English and saffa teams.

We've won a series in SA? India will win another 20 world cups before that happens. Going back to 1990. Lets go back to 1882, that's where the real stats lie. Indai have come full circle. Back to being like Bangladesh like they were in the 30's.:hehe:

??? We have never lost a series against England at home for god knows how long. As for thrashing I showed you the stats. A win is a win. You guys have won ONE match in the SC (the 2006 one against us) and have not registered a win in your last tours to Ind, Pak and SL. This year Eng touring all three SC countries again. Post Ashes 2005 all over again. :haha:

We haven't lost a home series again SL and NZ unlike you guys. And we'll win 20 WCs and that'll still not have happened. Back to being like Bangladesh like they were in the 30's - Or like England in the 90's :--D

We won series in Sri Lanka and Pakistan since 2000 so you'd be incorrect. You will loose badly to England at home later this year. The natural order of cricket will be fully restored.

all SC teams seem to be in a heap of problems these days, while all white teams seem to prosper somehow. even those NZers won a test in AUS. is there a common reason?
Really? If you want it that way then: World Cups: Whiteys: 5 Non-Whiteys: 8 And besides India's season really begins this year October and carries on the next 3 years. These overseas tours/vacations are just hit and miss with doctored conditions to favor host nations.

The Sri Lanka home loss was just one test so irrelevent. Back to being like India in the 60's. You have a worse losing streak away from home then Bangladesh.:yay:

This person is not BNP, this person a just doesn't know how to be an proper troll. A very one-dimensional you run of the mill troll still takin baby steps. Here I will help them out: S/he could have said that it's embarrassing how a nation of billion people fails to produce a single "fast" bowler in their cricketing history, especially for country that treat's cricket as religion.
That's a lie though. You do produce fast bowlers. Just not very good ones.

Doesn't change the fact that the last time India won a series in England was in 2007 and prior to that, 2002 (the infamous Natwest series) whereas the last time England won a series of any kind in India was in 1985. India has even won a world cup in England whereas England have not won a world cup at all, let alone winning it in India. Overall India have a more respectable record in England as compared to England's record in India in modern times. I agree India have a poor record against South Africa and Australia especially while playing outside India but Australia have been a difficult team for just about everyone. India beat Australia in tests the last 2 times Australia came to India. They drew the 2003-04 test series against Australia and lost a closely fought test series in Australia in 2008-09. In fact India have won the Border-Gavaskar trophy 5 times whereas Australia have won it only 3 times, even if Australia win this series it will be 5-4 to India. However to be fair to Australia, only 4 of these series have been played in Australia whereas 6 of them have been played in India. India won the Commonwealth Bank ODI series in Australia the last time they played in Australia and also the ODI series played last year in India, though they did lose the ODI series in 2008/9 which was played in India. Throughout the latter 90's and early 2000's India and South Africa were the only teams that even competed with Australia (India in tests and South Africa in ODI's) and on both occasions when Australia were on the verge of a record 17 or so number of consecutive test wins it was India who ended their streak. South Africa may have a good head-to-head record against India but until they win something significant on the global stage they cannot be considered a top team. The same applies to a lesser extent to England as well.
