Bad time to ask this question but.... We're strong at home (lost only 2 series in close to 25 years) and run on auto-pilot IF we're playing well but we've not been as convincing even in some of the recent home tests though there is incredible belief that we can come back and win - something that was there even in overseas tests before last summer. England haven't won since 84/85 and Australia since 2004 but they've run us close in tests (Bangalore 2001/2008, Mohali 2010, Chennai 2008 being a few recent examples). England also won a test in 2006 which helped them draw the series.
Pak technically beat us 2-1 [1999] We lost embarrasingly 2-0 to SA [2000] Aus beat us 2-1 in 2004. So thats really 3. B->

I'm sure BCCI will be looking for 'revenge' and prepare rank turners. Should be like the one where Hirwani made his debut.
Unfortunately our pitch doctors these days only think of flat decks where a test can last 5 days full of high scores for our FTBs. The results we get are largely by accident of late.

What crap. A tournament where matches where held in Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Why not lump all post 2000 tests in one series so we can win 4-3.
I said 'technically' for a good reason. The Pak tests were originally planned a 3 test series. Then suddenly the silly Asian test championship was rushed in and so the last test [Kolkotta] was taken off the bilateral series and pushed into the championship as it's opening test. Technically all India Pak tests were held back to back in India and Pak won 2 of the 3 tests it played on our soil. B->

we won 2-1 in 2010 (sachin 200) and lots of other times. in tests we have defeated them once in the 90s (srinath 6 wkt) and once in 2004 (sehwag was good in that series)
I was reminding you of the fact that we been whitewashed by SA at home [Azhar's last test match/series] while we have not won a series away against them.
