Ultimate_Game Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Fair point. I myself won't enjoy it much if it comes against BanglaDesh. But this has nothing to do with Greig ' date=' Atherton and that whole bunch.[/quote'] I don't either but at the same time I don't want to hear the same cr@p from those guys everytime India plays Eng or Aus.Tendulkar is one of the ATGs and one of the top 3 cricketers from India (after Kapil and Gavaskar) and I wouldn't want him to be made fun of by every Tom, Dick & Harry.

But this has nothing to do with Greig ' date=' Atherton and that whole bunch.[/quote'] It could just as well come against Pakistan or SL! Tendulkar has looked pretty fluent in Australia and so long as he's in good nick who cares? Dravid on the other hand as much as i hate to admit it, was woefully exposed in Australia. So i really don't see what's wrong with Tendulkar playing the Asia Cup. I just wanna win the cup and could care less which players do so. And yes i do think that Tendulkar increases our chances of wining it. Now in the process if he wins a few laurels along the way then so be it. As far as the age issue goes, this is national cricket, may the best man play. I wonder though if Tendulkar may retire post the Asia Cup.
