n order to keep it simple, we will be running a competition based on One Day Internationals and Test cricket. Each player/team will each pick a squad of 16 and compete to be crowned the inaugural champion. The Draft once the participants are finalised, I will post the draft order. The draft order will be organised. There will be 16 rounds of drafting in order to select full squads. At the end of each round, the order will be reversed. All players who have ever played a 20 ONE DAY INTERNATIONAL and 10 test matches are available for selection. It is recommended that players post a link to their player's Cricinfo profile with their selection, as this will help with organising the available players list. I will be using Cricsim (Syedur rehman) as the simulator, I will give everyone the copy of the scorecard and detail stats for your team which is generated by using this simulator, also as a home team you can tell me what kind of pitch you like, the three options are batting friendly/ normal/ bowling friendly. The rules Scoring of points 6.1 Tests 6.1.1 for a win, 14 points, plus any points scored in the first innings. 6.1.2 In a tie, each side to score seven points, plus any points scored in the first innings. 6.1.3 In a drawn match, each side to score four points, plus any points scored in the first innings (see also paragraph 6.1.6). 6.1.4 If the scores are equal in a drawn match, the side batting in the fourth innings to score seven points plus any points scored in the first innings, and the opposing side to score four points plus any points scored in the first innings. 6.1.5 First Innings Points (awarded only for performances in the first 120 overs of each first innings and retained whatever the result of the match). (a) A maximum of five batting points to be available as under: 200 to 249 runs - 1 point 250 to 299 runs - 2 points 300 to 349 runs - 3 points 350 to 399 runs - 4 points 400 runs or over. - 5 points ( A maximum of three bowling points to be available as under: 3 to 5 wickets taken - 1 point 6 to 8 wickets taken - 2 points 9 to 10 wickets taken - 3 points 6.2 One Day Games 4 points for a win 0 points for a loss 1 bonus point if a team achieves a run rate 1.25 times that of the opposition 2 bonus points if a team achieves a run rate twice that of the opposition Finals will be between the top 4 sides Semi Finals 1st Semi Final: 3rd v 4th 2nd Semi Final: 1st v 2nd Preliminary Final Loser of 2nd Semi Final v Winner of 1st Semi Final Grand Final Winner of 2nd Semi Final v Winner of Preliminary Final no one is allowed to pick Bradman since that will be cheating. if you haven't played cricsim syedur rahman give it a go it is really good. also if anyone is a computer genius can they please update the game, and make a improved version of this game. i am looking for 8 players to join this game but if it popular then more players can join
