Predator_05
this fact is illustrated by the no. of times we have bowled sides out twice in the last year and yet lost a no. of tests/series in this time. But the Indian bowlers didn't take 20 wickets at Durban or Bangalore ? Link to comment
yoda
Highest 4th innings totals: http://content-usa.cricinfo.com/ci/content/records/222199.html Not all teams fold in the 4th apparently. Link to comment

yoda
We can always come up with dhukhi kahanis. Bottom line is that we "CHOKED" in the 4th quarter for the 4th time in a row till the first test of this series which incidentally needed a rescuing act by none other than Dhoni. No one is asking the team to chase 600 and win in two days. Just asking for the top bats and especially THE ONE to show up and score a fuking century or something close to that atleast once in SUCH SITUATIONS instead of meaningless ones against the likes of Banglastan. Doesn't matter. Even if they do score, they will still lose because hardly teams ever chase down 350+ targets in the fourth innings (not quarter). Tendulkar and Dravid could score hundreds in the 4th innings, but they wouldn't amount to anything and you will still call them chokers because they couldn't win the game The Indian batsmen would never have to be in such ridiculous positions - chasing 357 (Bangalore), 354 (Durban), 607 (Karachi) - if the bowlers did their job in the 3rd innings by not allowing the opposition the luxury to set such targets. For the fans who want to see their team put up a decent fight, it would amount to something. And no, you won't be called a choker if you didn't really choke. Link to comment

yoda
Dont lie yods .... you routinely take pot shots at our players while being a witness to the routine hacking by the incompetent umps. I donno what you are talking about. I always take umpiring fackups into consideration before jumping on any player. By the same token, I will not make excuses for them if hawkwye shows that they were indeed out. Link to comment

yoda
Such as ? Durban was a Test where we got raped badly by both umpires but yet you are laying the blame on our batsmen. Yes, Dravid got shafted multiple times that series and we all biatched about it. Now we are talking about our batting collapses in general and more specifically the master's consistent no-show. You want to lay the blame on our bowlers initially and then moved to home and way factor. Now you have slowly moved to umps. Let see, what next? Our batsmen's inability to put up a decent 4th innings fight? Link to comment

CC1981
Looks like the Tendy worshippers/jingoistic indians are avoiding my post about Tendulkar NOT deserving to be in the team at the moment. Link to comment
