50 armed men attack police station; take away accused from custody

Morena, Madhya Pradesh: A group of 50 armed men allegedly attacked a police station in the Morena part of Madhya Pradesh to release a local businessman who had been arrested. Two policemen from Delhi who had travelled to Madhya Pradesh to collect the businessman were injured. They had taken a local liquor baron Sanjeev Singh Kansana to a police station after arresting him at his home early in the morning. He was meant to be moved to Delhi later today. The businessman's younger brother, Raghuraj Singh Kansana, who is also a local politician was among 50 armed men, some of who opened fire at the police station and managed to leave with the arrested man. The businessman is wanted in a case of fraud in Delhi. He allegedly took one crore from a man in Delhi for a plot of land in the capital but has not delivered the property after that.
