gator
10 more runs to 5000 runs in test cricket... .huge underachievement... if he was consistently played at number 3, he would have ended up with an average of 50+ now... i think, he has another 2-3 yrs left in him but definitely signs of his skills fading.... can he turn it around in this innings?? Predator_05
Apart from Tendulkar, he is the most talented Indian batsman i've ever seen. Pure class. Even though he has played close to a 100 tests, i don't think India really got the best out of VVS Laxman. Link to comment
gator
i dont know what is stopping RD from playing him at number 5 ahead of Ganguly.... Link to comment

gator
he was at his best in 2001 and 2003-04 season.... since then he has been playing well below potential cos of 2 reasons.... his place always under threat and secondly he has only the tail to pllay with.... the last 3 series, he averages in the 30s..... The Outsider
Laxman's game has been crippled by the fact that useless Yuvraj was preferred over him on a few occasions. Link to comment
