CG
Can you with god of cricket brain, show us the logic of 100 more runs under Dhoni's kaptaani :nervous: another of your gems,oh wait Dhoni is a greatest finisher but the hard work is done by Yuvi,Raina but Dhoni just gets a not out in end and takes away the credit Shewag kept a ring field like a odi which lead to atleast some pressure till ponting and clarke got away ,Dhoni usually spreads the field with deep cover and deep midwicket pretty quickly and allows easy singles ,you surely would have noticed. Dhoni has himself said it he wants to take the game to last over ,I did not say dhoni does not deserve credit,But mostly yuvi and raina or pathan hit out and dhoni does the job of seeing the match through as he knows he is good at it. Sehwag was equally bad if not worse in kaptaani,so you can remain in your dream world about his attacking kapotaani. And am not saying Dhoni is a great test kaptaan, all I want to say is that any man can be a kaptaan of this side and this side will do **** with this bowling attack. But youre a bowlers supporter,so all fault will always be of the kaptaan Link to comment

Ultimate_Game
Dhoni all the way. As I mentioned in another thread Dhoni is Bevan 2.0 with his ability to accumulate as well as hit out if needed. I had forgotten so many of these matches. Dhoni has been quietly phenomenol in the ODIs for so many years now. On the OP, I would still say that it's even stevens. During Bevan's time, bowlers relied heavily on yorkers and there were many great fast bowlers going around then. Now, bowlers have so many varieties, heck they even bowl a slow bouncer. You have more of death over specialists now which was not entirely the case in the 90's. Yet, if I had to choose 1, it's got to be MS ofcourse :--D Link to comment
