Sehwag1830 Posted June 22, 2012 Author Posted June 22, 2012 How much do Indian players get in comparison? 1 crore for Grade A players. Grade A includes all major test players like Sehwag,Laxman,Sachin,Zaheer etc
Sehwag1830 Posted June 22, 2012 Author Posted June 22, 2012 How much would that be in USD? Bhai Indian currency has taken a beating last year. So approx USD 200,000
Crookbond Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 ^ So without taking a beating, it would be approx. the same right?

However consider this: A Grade A Indian cricketer makes only 600000 USD , if he plays all ODI,TEST,T20 in a year for Indian team. And compare this salary to IPL salary or endorsement salary . There is not much money in International cricket.
Precambrian Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Lol just 6 batsmen contracted - and out of that one is David Hussey who is not a test candidate. and Ed Cowan who's their regular opener doesnt have a contract. Lol.
