Right now, anyone can report an incident of violence against women in india to maps4aid through SMS, WebForm, mobile apps, or email. A lot of news from vernacular press is lost in the online media, so I encourage users to report from that too. They can add the name of the newspaper and the issue. The next step will be to integrate it with NGOs so that the moment I get a report from Location A, the report will be forwarded to NGOs/Police/Agencies in Location A who have registered with us and action can be taken. Considering the geography of India, this will take a while for me to accomplish but I have already started the process of talking with government agencies about this.
