Cricket Fanatic Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 Indian Premier League is a simulated T20 league. It features 6 teams with each team consisting of 18 players. Of the 18 players, 11 players will be Indian while the remaining 7 will be overseas. Playing XI can have a maximum of 4 overseas players. Squad of 18 players will be selected via a draft where managers of the team pick players in rounds. I'll explain this once I get 6 managers for the teams. EA Cricket 2007 (with IPL 2012) will be used as a simulator. I've a fair bit of experience with this so, don't worry. I won't be giving teams on the first come first serve basis. I'll need help from some of the regular posters here to decide to whom to give the team. This is, only if there are more than 6 people interested. :p I hope there are. There are star players associated with particular teams. If you're interested in any such team, you have an option to take that star player or not pick him. If you don't pick the star player, he then goes in the drafts where other teams can pick him if they want. If you're interested in managing a team, just post stating which team you would like to manage. I'm no Lalit Modi btw. This is just for a bit of fun. Teams Chennai Super Kings Home Ground: M. A.
