Chandan
Yes I agree that fielding was majority to blame in 3rd ODI but English have been getting decent start in all three ODIs We dont have a wicket taking bowler in first 5 overs That tells you about the toothlessness of Indian seam attack and the general bad fielding where even slight pushes end up in boundaries. And of course the dropped catches. Can't remember even one of these 3 matches when Cook has not been dropped. In the last ODI, along with Cook even Prior got the reprieve, and not once but twice. Give these chances to our openers and we'll race away to decent score every time!! Link to comment
Chandan
bad umpiring is not the excuse for the defeat. I know it happens but you know that our start in batting was not the start we were looking for. Bowlers bowling wayward line and length is also not expected anyways chuck it No way was poor umpiring the reason of our defeat. India didn't deserve to win the 3rd ODI because of its disgraceful fielding and toothless ineffective bowling---AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!! Link to comment
