ludhianvi Posted August 30, 2007 Share Posted August 30, 2007 IMO, India cannot play well with just six batsmen and 5 bowlers. India got its ODI success with 7 batsmen and 4 bowlers. Until we can find a genuine #7 allrounder, we cannot afford to go in with just 6 batsmen. With six batsmen the opening pair are looking to consolidate from the first ball. And if two further wickets fall, we pretty much shut the shop. Link to comment
