sandtest
.here is one of the Bojpuri/Awadhi folksong I can recollect. Read carefully it's really beautiful and has some lesson and pride of rural UP ladies hidden in this. Back ground is -- two ladies who are childhood friends are discussing about their balam/mansedhoo (husband) .-- One of the lady's husband is a farmer while others husband is a government employee... Lurker
गरी क गोला rocks!! :yay: I could eat the dried गरी क गोला all day long. Seriously though good folk song ST, ghar ki yaad aa gayi. KR, khari boli is more like the prevalent Hindi found in UP/Bihar/MP. Think of Amitabh in Don, Khaike Paan banaras waala..thats akin to Khari boli. Bhojpuri is quite different to khari boli..same script, words etc though.
