MDDM/Langat-Singh/Rambriksh benipuri/RDS sare college mein hoga ye deptt.. par sambhawatah MDDM or LS college.. E arts wala subject ke bare mein hamani ke vishesh pata nai khe, agar zaroorat hoye details ke ta batain hamara ke phone kare ke pari..

Do any of you know khariboli and how different is it from Bhojpuri ?

.here is one of the Bojpuri/Awadhi folksong I can recollect. Read carefully it's really beautiful and has some lesson and pride of rural UP ladies hidden in this. Back ground is -- two ladies who are childhood friends are discussing about their balam/mansedhoo (husband) .-- One of the lady's husband is a farmer while others husband is a government employee... सखी तोहरा बलम परधान हो, सखी हमरौ किसान बा ! सखी तोहरा बलम परधान हो, सखी हमरौ किसान बा ! एकै साथ पढ़ली, एकै साथ लिखली, एक साथ बियाह रचान हो, सखी हमरौ किसान बा तोहरा बियाहे चढल सोना और चांदी, हमरा गरी क गोला पान हो, सखी हमरौ किसान बा तोहरा बलम लै आवै रुपिया अउर पैसा....हमारा त चना, चाउर, आन हो सखी हमरौ किसान बा तोहरा बलम हौवई सरकारी नौकर -- सरकारी नौकर बहिनी कचहरिया क नौकर हमारा त गाँव क परधान हो सखी हमरौ किसान बा!! तोहरा बलम परधान हो, त सखी हमरौ किसान बा.

गरी क गोला rocks!! :yay: I could eat the dried गरी क गोला all day long. Seriously though good folk song ST, ghar ki yaad aa gayi. KR, khari boli is more like the prevalent Hindi found in UP/Bihar/MP. Think of Amitabh in Don, Khaike Paan banaras waala..thats akin to Khari boli. Bhojpuri is quite different to khari boli..same script, words etc though.
