Mr Brahma, who is the Bodoland Territorial Area Districts (BTAD) Congress Co-ordination Committee President, was reportedly nabbed by angry residents in Salbari around 2 am this morning when he allegedly tried rape the woman, who is a mother of two children. Salbari is a remote area in Chirang district of Assam and is not under wireless coverage. It is still not clear whether he has been arrested by the police.

Irked with his confession, a group of women then assaulted, slapped and stripped the Congress leaer in full public view. The visuals of this shocking incident was also aired on local TV news channel. Like I said before, when rapes are committed by high level politicians what do you expect from bus drivers.

And it's rather disgusting and immoral to give such people tickets to contest elections. And this old fecker admitted to police he raped women yet nothing was done (probably boasting), corrosion of society.

Mr. Brahma, who is the Baksa district Congress Committee chairman and Congress coordinator of Bodoland Territorial Council, was beaten up by men and women who ripped of his clothes. He was later handed over to the police, the SP said. A case was registered after the victimÃÔ husband filed an FIR and required action would be taken, he said. Condemning the incident, Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, who was in New Delhi, said anyone found guilty of the henious crime ÅØould not be spared, whether he is Congressman or not. Ūt is the most condemnable act. Anyone who commits rape or attempts it should be given stringent punishment, he said, adding his government has been strict in handling such cases such as the Guwahati molestation incident. Favouring fast tracking the investigation, Mr. Gogoi said, in the molestation case too, he had ordered an inquiry to find out if there was any lapse which led to acquittal of some of the accused.

I mean bloody hell it means she was before, which she was, as a lot of bsp canditates have rape allegations against them.
