dont think so...they(bcci)could have bullied eng/aus oards in 2011 tour and avoided whitewash ,,,,,,if that time ecb/csa didnt scubb to bcci,,,then why they will do tat in future 0

Since not much activity is on in ICF for past half an hour, I was thinking about the original FTP framed sometime in 2011. I guess BCCI has lost the plot there by providing too many away series and not having that many home series in the same time frame especially against the stronger sides. Case in Point, we toured South Africa in 2010-11 and played a 3- match test series and we are going back there in 2013-14. However in the mean time the Proteas will not be coming to India in between that. Why then we play 2 away test series in SAF while none against them at home??? We next host South Africa after 5 and a half years in OCT-NOV 2015. That by now way looks fair to me. Next case in point, we keep giving Sri Lanka so many petty ODI tournaments in SRL, but when does did the Sri Lankan team actually played ODIs in India?? I dont remember many such matches off late. Maybe back in 2009 and we still dont have any ODIs against Sri Lanka in India till another 4 years I guess. The only time they do come to India will be in Dec-2015 for just a 3 Match test series. Now New Zealand seems to be the most hard done team in the FTP if you consider most teams giving them just 2-Match series. India now have already trimmed their series in India from a 3-test affair as was originally scheduled to a 2-test series and 2-T20 series. Now with these rumours of even the away series will be trimmed is pathetically worse. I for one have been hoping since 5-6 years now for bigger test series from all sides against West Indies which would allow them to get better but India although has for has given them 3-test series, in future plans to give them just 2-tests in 2018. This could be a bad trend for world cricket with tests becoming limited to just 4 teams --- IND, ENG, AUS, SAF and other teams getting lost in oblivion. Hope someone stands up for the lesser sides too. Alas, we need weak teams for bashing too :--D
