theguyinallblue
In 20-20 we get a free hit for a front foot No-ball... now many a times...a free hit results in a 6 or 4 or some runs... very rarely it has gone unpunished... i got this idea of bowling a free hit ball... a wide way down the leg side...or off side....ofcourse...with wicket keepers knowledge... this way...it will be one run..and another extra ball..which will be a nornal delivery... i think its an excellent idea... yoda
http://www.icc-cricket.com/icc/rules/Twenty20_playing_conditions.pdf 24.2 Free Hit after a foot-fault no ball In addition to the above, the delivery following a no ball called for a foot fault (Law 24.5) shall be a free hit for whichever batsman is facing it.If the delivery for the free hit is not a legitimate delivery (any kind of no ball or a wide ball), then the next delivery will become a free hit for whichever batsman is facing it.' For any free hit, the striker can be dismissed only under the circumstances that apply for a no ball, even if the delivery for the free hit is called wide ball. Field changes are permitted for free hit deliveries (the provisions of clause 41.2 shall apply). Link to comment
