dr_tooley Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Since when does a guy who isn't even in the side decide where he is going to bat? Pujara our best player was played out of position and for what reason? So a player who isn't even in the side choose not to open. Note to selectors - if are playing at home and you don't have an opener - pick one. Don't wreck your entire team order to fit in a player with no record at Test level.
Crookbond Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Huh? He says consider me for selection in the middle order. What's wrong with that?

The problem is not with him, its with the selectors of acquiescing. The point is that the player fit the team and to the team the player. Especially if you are new with no proven Test record.
bharat297 Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 I honestly do not believe that someone who has been a substitute for 18 months would start putting conditions on their selection to the team.
