The aims of the IPL PCA should be to protect, improve and negotiate the conditions, rights and status of all players by collective bargaining agreements. The IPL PCA could fund various education programmes for current players. They could have links with the Universities and Colleges across India who could help IPL players attain academic and vocational qualifications which could be beneficial for the lesser established players in the long term.
