Anyhoo, they finished rolling Rajasthan, secured a first innings lead and set them 384 (with the out of form Muzumdar coming back to some runs with 68 not out off 87), before Usman Malvi got an early breakthrough to leave them at 48/1. Good to see Malvi being effective with the new ball, and hopefully Powar can pick up where he left off last innings. BTW, Kukreja's form continues - he made another solid 73 in the second dig. Averaging 52 atm in the Ranjis this season with 416 runs.

The best team in India, a game with some very hot young guns like Abhishek Nayar, Rohit Sharma, Kukreja, Rahane, Pankaj Singh and Rohit Jhalani, and no coverage while farking Hyderabad/Andhra or one of the ICL carnival teams gets a roundup? BTW, good to see Pankaj among the wickets here. Hope Iqbal Abdulla can pick up a few as well tomorrow - from what I saw of him earlier in the Iranis, the kid's definitely got talent - but just very raw and in need of a longer run in the side and some guidance from a coach/senior player or two.

It depends on the location. Sometimes CI staff is not at the location. Iqbal started his career promisingly but since last few Ranji matches his performances has not been upto mark. Abhishek Nayar has been a gem for Mumbai. I hope Pankaj Singh can go to Australia

I am going to be f*cking livid if Nayar is not picked for the ODIs in Australia early next year. He'll only benefit the squad - solid medium pace bowler who can chip in during the middle overs, pick up breakthroughs and toil away in longer spells if need be. And this is a bloke who's made his bones crashing run a ball hundreds or 70s or 80s in tough backs to the wall situations. No flat pitches and crap attack bullying for him. He delivers when the pressure's on, isn't fazed by the bigger stages or names, will happily let Kumble sledge him and then thrash the next ball to the fence - what is a bloke like that NOT doing near the Indian team?

Hyderabad complete the victory on the final day. It was also a low scoring affair like Dengal-Orissa match Andhra 159 & 127 Hyderabad 132 & 155/7 (67.1 ov) Hyderabad won by 3 wickets

Delhi is about win against Maharashtra. Needing 51 to win, they are 23/3. The batsmen dismissed does *not* include VS, who has dropped himself down the order and hasn't batted yet. Mumbai is in a minor spot of bother. They set Rajastan 384 to win. Raj is 219/2 needing 165 more in 34 overs. Tamil Nadu is about win to against HP. Karnataka needed 265 in about 62 overs against Saurashtra and are goofing up a chase in the second straight match. 60/2 in the 20th over at the moment. Connor Williams 185* in Baroda's 428/2, chasing Punjab's 496 in the first innings.

Agree Salil. In fact the day two coverage had just 4 matches covered and I had look up for the reports in HT and Hindu and thankfully they had covered. As for Day three's game even HT's round-up is missing and Hindu is not covereing the Mumbai game. I sent a nasty feedback to HT as to why they stopped after day 2. Let us see if they cover the final day's game or not. But I'm quite happy for Mumbai. Looks like it no longer needs guys like Indulkar and Mane and that is all for good. Hopefully we'll see at least three quality players emerging from the present crop.
