Midfielder Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Why should he resign ? for winning all the league matches comfortably ? For making dumb sheet decisions like giving overs to raina and not letting sharma finish his quota. there are many dumb things he has done .
GrandMasterSaxy Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 I don't think "experimenting with the available resources" is an issue as far as India is winning the matches. He seem to be doing good as a captain (at the moment), it would be harsh asking him to step down. I personally feel we could have won the Asia cup if he would have been available. Agreed could have won the Asian cup with him but as his contribution as a batsman not as a captain. I think same team with Virat or Rohit as Captain would do better than currently. Strategically dhoni brings nothing to the table.
undisputed chap Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Dhoni should be captain in odi & tests till 2015 wc & then step down.
Midfielder Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Dhoni should be captain in odi & tests till 2015 wc & then step down. Only tests and nothing more. I am tired of him and his shenanigans.
undisputed chap Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Dhoni has the work cut out for him. Either show himself to be a great captain by atleast drawing tset series vs eng & aus or go out as a mediocre test captain who got his ass saved by srini & not being good enough to play for india in tests ( esp overseas)

GrandMasterSaxy Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Though Virat is a quality player as a batsman, I find Rohit to be more matured and captaincy material. undisputed chap Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Series vs eng & aus are going to be most difficult time for these youngsters most of who have barely played 20 tests. Don't want suddenly people running home, feigning injuries, news of off field quarrels, etc which maybe very difficult to handle for a new captain who will already have handsfull. Even thoughdhoni sucks big time atleast he has a decent track record of controlling these type of things
