Predator_05 Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 It's only 9 PM today ON HBO ! YES !!!! Kessler is 39-0, Calzaghe 45-0 (or something similar) and it's a TITLE UNIFICATION bout ! This will be one hell of a fight. I watched Calzaghe destroy a boxer from an ESPN reality show "The Contender" Peter Manfredo, and I also saw the Jeff Lacy fight. This guy has remarkably quick hands and can land a number of combinations in the blink of an eye. Haven't seen Kessler, but judging by HBO's previews of the fight, he is a real bad @ss with a massive tattoo.

Kessler fought very well and those two uppercuts he landed in the 4th were beautiful, but Calzaghe threw over 400 punches more and his jabbing was perfect. Awesome. HBO commentators were convinced that there is nothing left for Calzaghe in the 168 lbs weight class - he has got to move up to 175 and fight Bernard Hopkins.
