vijay50 Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Thats right. Halfway between the series thats the maximum Dhawan, Pujara and Kohli together made in their individual 5 innings. 91 was the best and 51 worst.Until this is fixed somehow by the batters, expect India to be 100/3 at any given time. RIP.
ThePhenomenal1 Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 VJ was unlucky with that runout. Should have dived though VJ Gambhir for Dhawan - more solidity, he had a county stint, has experience and is gritty. Pujara - has to be backed, dont know whats wrong but will come good Kohli - has looked good this test but unnecessarily plays the shot that gets him out. Back him to come good Rahane at 5 - good Thats a good top 5. Dhawan, who was the uncertain factor, is gone. Give GG a go. Who's at 6? Ashwin in 4th test. Him and 4 seamers. India will have to go for a win, aggressive cricket always wins. They have been shameful this test. Negative cricket like sri lanka in early 2014. Horrible.
gaurav92 Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Gauti for Dhawan. Ishant should stay out for one more game, get his full fitness back and then we may play him in the next game if others fail. Bowling should be the same, but replace the opener, if we have picked Gambhir, we must play him in the remaining two tests, he will not be worse than dhawan.
